Compliance (CPL) directives are federal compliance operating procedures
which relate to enforcement of particular standards. The CPL's listed below
are the only federal CPL's that OSHNC uses. State-specific operating procedures
are contained in additional documents; the Field
Operations Manual (FOM) and Operational
Procedure Notices (OPN).
Federal OSHA recently renumbered their directives using a new classification
scheme. The document number listed first is the old CPL number and appears
on the PDF and HTML versions of the documents created prior to October 2003.
The number listed second (in brackets) is the new CPL number which may appear
on federal OSHA's table of contents and will also appear in the HTML versions
of the documents created prior to October 2003 and in all documents created
since October of 2003. To be certain you have the most current information,
please bookmark this page and check the OSHNC date occasionally. The title
is linked to the document on either the federal OSHA website or the NCDOL
website. Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 may be required to view some of these documents.
